A little help getting back to the music.

Start with your music
Mornye needs macOS 26 or later on Mac, or iOS 26 or later on iPhone. A new library starts empty. Choose Import Music and select your audio files in Finder or Files. On Mac, you can also import a folder or drag files into the app.
Mornye copies imported music into its own library. Your original files are preserved. Daily Sessions appear once you have imported music. Each device has its own local library.
How do I change or rescan my music folder?
Open Library options → Library Settings, or find Library Settings under Settings. Choose or change your music folder, then use Scan Music Folder to add files from it and its subfolders. Unchanged duplicates are skipped. Changing or disconnecting the folder keeps music already imported.
How do I refresh or remove imported songs?
Use Refresh Song in a song’s options, or Refresh All Songs in Library Settings, to read metadata again from Mornye’s copies. To add files changed outside Mornye, scan the source folder again. Remove one song from its options, or use Remove All Songs in Library Settings and confirm. This removes Mornye’s copies and playlist entries while preserving original files. An explicit rescan can add those songs back.
My file won’t import.
Supported formats include Opus (.opus), Ogg Vorbis (.ogg/.oga), M4A/M4B (AAC or ALAC), FLAC, WAV, AIFF, MP3, AAC/ADTS and CAF. Files must be available locally. Opus and Vorbis are prepared for playback during import; this uses additional local storage while preserving the original audio file. DRM-protected subscription downloads aren’t supported. If one file fails, check the import error and send its format and error message to support.
How do I add lyrics?
Mornye can read embedded lyrics and supported LRC or TTML files. Lyrics with the same base filename can be read alongside audio during import. You can also use Edit Lyrics → Import Lyrics to attach a file. Synchronized highlighting needs supported timing information in the lyrics.
How does ReplayGain work?
Open Settings → Audio. Track mode balances loudness between tagged songs; Album mode preserves relative levels within a tagged album. ReplayGain is off by default. Mornye uses tags already present in your files and doesn’t create missing loudness tags.
How do I change my playlists?
Choose New Playlist, add a title and optionally a cover and description, then add songs from your library. Open the playlist’s options to edit it. Deleting a playlist keeps its songs in your library.
Can I turn off listening-based recommendations?
Yes. Turn off Learn from Listening in Settings to stop new learning. Reset Listening Profile removes your local listening history and learned preferences without deleting music or playlists.
Why does output quality differ from my file?
Source quality and hardware output are separate. Audio Quality shows both. Your system settings, connected device and wireless route determine the actual output. On Mac, use Audio MIDI Setup to configure your output device. High-resolution playback may require a compatible wired DAC.
My library won’t open. What should I do?
Keep the library files and contact support before deleting anything. Mornye keeps a local recovery copy of library metadata, but this is not a replacement for a backup of your music. A library saved by a newer Mornye version requires an updated app.
